Professional Cadetships Australia provides Year 12 students with the opportunity to apply for a cadetship with leading companies. The cadetships provide cadets with paid employment while they undertake university studies.

Please note the following

  • It is important that applicants take care in writing their Application Form and provide well-structured, comprehensive answers to the core questions.
  • On the School Assessment, certain information (in confidence) about the applicant is provided, including an estimation (in 5 mark bands) of ATAR potential. ATAR cut off in 2023 was 87.
  • Selected applicants are invited to sit for customised psychometric assessment before being invited to a first-round interview with PCA. Candidates need to do well in all three parts of their application: i.e. the Application Form, School Assessment and psychometric assessment.
  • Interviewees are given informal verbal feedback at the end of their interview. Feedback is provided by specific companies on request from candidates.
