Role description
studies the public legal and insurance documents associated with real estate ownership, such as sales records, titles, mortgages, and contracts. Determine who owns a property and verifies documentation for accuracy. Title Examiners evaluate the legal status of properties, including their boundaries, and identify whether the land can be sold. These determinations allow them to build summaries of pertinent information regarding real estate for their records. Work for insurance companies, real estate agencies, and law firms, but they can also pursue self-employment with enough experience.
