Role description

manages, acquires, and recruits creative and organisational staff. Their role consists mainly of four steps 1.) Planning: how many people the show requires, how long the show needs the various talents, and what skills and level of experience candidates need. 2.) Attracting: luring the most suitable candidates, who can come from the manager's extensive contacts book or from posting job descriptions online. 3.) Selecting: creating a shortlist of candidates and forwarding this to the production managers and series producers for the interviewing process. 4.) Retaining: after the production is over, it's important to keep track of the talent because they may be suitable for future projects.
