Supply Chain Manager
Role description
manages logistics, updates and analyses inventory, and performs analyses to the supply chain data. They work in a range of settings, such as an office, a warehouse, or manufacturing facility. They may also travel either locally or internationally to meet with suppliers and other partners. Supply Chain Managers assist in the company’s commercial strategy and ensures an impressive return of investment (ROI) that contributes to the company’s financial goals. Their responsibilities range from negotiating terms and prices with suppliers, to identifying and minimising risk, and developing safety guidelines.
