SES (State Emergency Service) Officer
Role description
prepares and responds to unexpected events and emergencies, such as storm and flood operations, road crash rescue, and search and rescue operations. Confront the effects of natural and man-made emergencies in all states and territories. Support and work hand-in-hand with full-time emergency response agencies, for e.g. police, ambulance, and fire services. Predominantly a volunteer-based organisation that supports communities.
