Property Inspector
Role description
identifies flaws and defects in a property’s structure, and its electrical and plumbing systems. They survey every aspect to report any immediate issues, or potential safety concerns, before any party takes occupancy. Property Inspectors examine properties for existing or potential concerns with structures, components, and systems. Prospective buyers or owners hire these inspectors prior to sale, to ensure people move into a safe and cost-effective residence. They write inspection reports to share with real estate agents, but their inspection only identifies issues with the property, and they do not necessarily fix the problems themselves.
