Environmental Health Officer
Role description
develops, regulates, enforces, and monitors laws and regulations governing public health, building, and environmental management, in order to promote good health, hygiene and environmental practices. Duties include investigating complaints about food and ensure that food is hygienically prepared, they conduct food hygiene educational seminars and other community health education programs, and monitor and control water, air/ noise pollution and collect water samples for chemical and microbiological analysis to make sure that it complies with standards.
