Role description

They provide technical support to private businesses and government agencies to solve security issues, and play a significant role in building the systems that secure digital assets and data on a network. Cryptographers use algorithms and ciphers to develop security systems that encrypt sensitive data. A few of their activities include preventing data systems from hacks like interception, decryption and altering, and inhibit unauthorised access by parties that do not possess authorisation, clearance, or permission to access specific data.
