Construction Engineer
Role description
oversees the design and building process of construction projects. They ensure buildings, projects and construction teams are safe, and design infrastructure systems, such as roads, dams, water supply systems, and buildings. They work with a team of fellow engineers and construction crews to organise and complete projects. Construction Engineers can specialise in certain types of construction, or an area of engineering. Duties include developing construction project budgets, gathering resources, (for e.g. employees, tools, machines and physical materials), operating machinery, inspecting equipment, and using computer software to plan and design projects.
