Role description
performs an array of legal administrative tasks, including conducting research, performing legal analysis, and maintaining legal records. Prepare draft opinions for legal cases that will act as the foundation for Judges and Solicitors. Clerks also assist Lawyers during a legal action by preparing for the case, which includes reviewing and assembling legal documents, such as affidavits, legal complaints, and petitions. Duties are undertaken in an office, though they may also spend some time in the courtroom, or the Judge’s chamber.
