Bricklayer
Role description
constructs, builds, and repairs buildings and other various structures, such as foundations, walls, chimneys or even decorative masonry work. Bricklayers are part of the core construction team and are critical to the structure of a building due to the fact that they are responsible for the foundations. Duties include laying bricks, strengthening and sealing foundations, repairing building blocks, refurbishing decorative stonework, and understanding and measuring the quantities of materials required to for the job.
