Role description
assists patients in developing the skills and thought patterns needed to overcome unhealthy or maladaptive behaviours. Own or manage a practice, work in hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centres, schools, or detention facilities. Responsibilities range from assisting patients in developing healthier thought patterns and behaviours, analysing patients’ behavioural patterns to diagnose mental health disorders, developing suitable treatment programs based on patients' diagnoses, and adjusting treatment programs accordingly.
