The first step in thinking about your future is to bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be. Exploring your values, interests, and skills will help you find educational and career options that match up with your goals. Whether you are choosing subjects for school, applying for university or TAFE or thinking about your future, career coaching will assist you implement a plan for the future based on an effective problem-solving process.

  • Decide what pathway and subjects to choose
  • Learn about different career paths; understand how your academic program translates into a career; identify jobs/careers related to your current or potential skill set
  • Meeting 1:1 with a student produces the most effective conversation as it is entirely focused on the student. A one-to-one conversation is the most powerful form of coaching as it allows the coach to listen to the needs, interests and passions of the student.
